I'm going to be honest with you. This past week has been another roller coaster. I've still been struggling quite a bit with my lung health, but after doing my vocal exercises yesterday, I found my voice again. That made me very happy.
There were other things going on beyond my control which took my focus away from everything I have been working on, but I am back. I have started working on daily habits, not only for my health but for my music as well. I've come so far so I'm not giving up now. I have too many things to do.
In just a little over a week, I will be traveling to Nashville to record a few new songs, do another photoshoot, video shoot, and of course attend a concert. I am a huge Alter Bridge fan so I am excited to see them at the beautiful Ryman Theater.
No matter what, I can't slow down, I can't be afraid to test the boundaries and push myself. My sweet mother is very concerned about me traveling. She wants me to stay safe and healthy. While I very much appreciate her love and concern, I can't let it stop me from living my life and doing what I absolutely love to do. We never know how long we will be on this earth, so we need to make the most of every single day. That is my plan!
Until next week,
