Today is January 10th, 2023. Have you gotten used to writing 23 yet? I have not. But I will.
The last week has again, had its ups and downs. A family member passed away which put everything else on a pause. But I did have to keep moving forward and getting things done. Over the weekend I went to a studio in downtown Myrtle Beach to film a music video for an upcoming single that will be released on the 27th of this month. It all went great and we have to finish up in a couple of days. The bad part of the video was just getting ready to pack the car and leave the house. I picked up my beautiful Epiphone Nancy Wilson Fanatic guitar, and threw it over my shoulder with the strap. As I was walking away, the strap slipped off of the pegs and the guitar smashed to the tile floor. It took a big chunk of wood out. I believe it hurt me way more than it hurt my guitar. I will be more careful in the future. Needless to say, none of my guitars are going with me to finish the video.
That's really all for now. I am just continuing to practice (even with my damaged guitar), write and get my vocals ready for the Nashville trip. I leave in about two weeks. So a prayer or two for me :)
